An revised, slightly expanded version of the first story I posted on this account. The original version was written in a quick burst one weekend where I had set for myself the goal of getting something, anything written and loaded. I was never satisfied with what I originally loaded, but I never got around to going back and changing it.

Now, over a year later, I've done it. I've added some more details to John's thoughts as things progress ( had commented that the whole story felt too detached from the characters) and more importantly I tried making it clearer that Mindy was the one changing reality (up to the point that I laid it out specifically at the end), rather than John. I think it was Darien who got confused there, and that felt like the only real failing of my original version.

I still didn't go with a final scene where Mindy is bedridden by her gravid belly, and the final day seems a bit rushed, but I've got several other stories I want to work on rather than just getting hung up on this one old idea.
